School Aim

Teach participants the principles and practices of working their stock and dogs effectively, efficiently and safely with minimum stress on the stock, dogs and handlers.

You will learn

• How your mindset and attitude can create a trusting and respectful relationship between you and the stock, you and your dogs and the dogs and the stock.

• How the position of yourself and your dogs affects stock movement and trust.

• How to read stock to better anticipate their actions and where you should position yourself or your dogs

• A process to effectively and safely educate stock using yourself and your dogs.

• Activities that create a bond of respect with your dogs.

• Processes to help your dog learn how to work effectively with minimal commands.

• Principles that you can apply to any situation with stock including trialling.

• That you can continue learning during stock work, rather than in an artificial training set up.
